After installations that were as spectacular as they were unexpected, this year the department store is heading to the Basque Country with an exhibition as warm as it is vibrant: Muxu — "kiss" in Basque.
A Basque immersion in the heart of Paris
From April 25 to August 23, rue de Sèvres takes on a South-Western vibe. Over a ton of hanging Espelette peppers, dazzling reds, an atmosphere between land and sea... The scene is set. Between La Grande Épicerie de Paris and Le Bon Marché, the senses awaken, the landmarks shift, and Paris slowly allows itself to be permeated by Basque energy. It's an invitation to travel, to discover, to experience the art of living – one that takes its time, celebrates the dinner table, and transforms every shared moment into a memory.
Atlantic Coast: the art of entertaining, Basque style
In this colorful scenography, our Côte Atlantique collection naturally finds its place, alongside other Basque designers. Conceived in the Basque Country, and designed to accompany both simple moments and grand gatherings, Côte Atlantique embodies a certain idea of elegance: white tableware, edged with a fine and precise red line, like a nod to the pepper... and to those tables where everything is shared. Inspired by the Atlantic light and the timeless lines of the coast – between Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz – it evokes those lingering lunches, those extended meals, those moments where one finally takes the time.
